The TI STEM team is excited to work with the West Virginia State University Center for the Advancement of STEM on a STEM and coding camp using the TI-Nspire CX calculator and the TI-Innovator Hub.

Fred Fotsch, Erick Archer and Dave Santucci of the TI STEM team will be leading this online interactive camp.

The camp project will be to make a Digital Mood Ring. The Mood Ring project brings together science, math and coding concepts, and it is a lot of fun.

We will also be recording the camp sessions each day and posting them for you to review and use on your own. If we discover additional materials that would be useful for the camp, we will post them here.

 

Getting ready for the camp

During the camp, the STEM team will guide you through each step of the project following a TI-Nspire file that is on the calculator that you received. We will discuss the science and coding concepts. And we will answer questions.
